UCLs Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology is a world-leading centre for mental health research. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience of Development Lab (CANDL) for a research assistant to help with a new study funded by the Prudence Trust. You will work in a small, collaborative and innovative team who are committed to advancing the field of adolescent mental health.

About the role

Salary is �37,332 ? �37,982 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. An acceptable DBS check is required to carry out this role. This is a fixed-term role from 01-SEP-2024 until 30-SEP-2025 in the first instance. This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role. This role is eligible for hybrid working, However, it is expected that the research assistant will be on-site whenever participant testing or handling of secure research materials is required, as dictated by the PI and research project. About you

To carry out research in the area of cognitive neuroscience and mental health. To assist in the running of behavioural, functional neuroimaging and other cognitive neuroscience experiments with children, adolescents and adults, including young people seeking treatment for anxiety and depression. To record and assist with the analysis of data; recruit and maintain a secure database of study participants.To assist with administrative tasks relating to the management of the experiments and the research group.
